My sub was tasked with cutting out holes for 8" in-ceiling speakers in a pine tongue and groove ceiling at a brand new custom home. They didn't measure at all, and ended up cutting right in the middle of a joist, causing significant damage to the ceiling. The sub did a poor job at repairing and disappeared afterward. It was overall the most embarrassing experience I've had as a contractor. I called Steve and his crew was able to perform an excellent repair on the ceiling at a very fair price. Really bailed us out of a bad situation and we were able to finish the job with a happy client. I'd highly recommend this company and they will be my go to carpenter on future projects.
